BeeClean Janitorial & Cleaning Services – Terms & Conditions

By booking services through our website, phone, or email, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from booking services with BeeClean Janitorial & Cleaning Services Inc.

1. Booking & Confirmation

Submitting a booking request does not guarantee availability. All bookings are confirmed by BeeClean via email or phone.

We reserve the right to reschedule or decline bookings due to availability, safety concerns, or operational limitations.

 

2. Payments

  • Payment is due at the time of booking.

Your appointment is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed. 

  • Accepted payment methods:

    • Credit card

    • E-transfer

  • A 4% processing fee applies to credit card payments

  • HST (13%) is applied in accordance with Ontario regulations

Failure to provide payment by the day of service may result in service suspension.

 

3. Pricing & Scope of Work

Prices are based on:

  • Home size

  • Number of bathrooms

  • Condition of the space

  • Type of service booked (one-time, recurring, move-in/move-out)

Standard cleaning does not include deep cleaning, inside appliances, interior cabinets, or excessive buildup unless arranged in advance.

BeeClean reserves the right to adjust pricing if the condition of the home differs significantly from what was disclosed at booking. If we are unable to reach you for approval, the service may be stopped and a cancellation fee applied.

4. Recurring Services

Recurring pricing applies to weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly maintenance services after the initial clean.

Skipping scheduled cleanings, frequent cancellations, or changes in home condition may result in pricing adjustments or removal from recurring service eligibility.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the booked service

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows: 100% of the booked service

Repeated late cancellations may result in service termination.

6. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

BeeClean reserves the right to refuse or stop service due to:

  • Unsafe or unsanitary conditions, including but not limited to rodent or pest infestations

  • Aggressive behavior (people or pets)

  • Severe clutter or hoarding conditions

  • Presence of weapons

  • Lack of running water or electricity

  • Situations where staff feel unsafe or threatened

If service is refused upon arrival, cancellation fees may apply.

7. Cleaning Day Preparation

Please ensure reasonable access to all areas being cleaned. Excessive clutter, personal items, or blocked areas may limit what can be cleaned.

Tidying, organizing, or dishwashing is not included unless added in advance and may incur additional charges.

 

8. Add-On Services

Add-on services must be requested in advance and are subject to additional fees. Examples include:

  • Inside appliances

  • Interior cabinets

  • Heavy pet hair

  • Post-construction dust

  • Interior windows

  • Garage or patio cleaning

9. Pets

  • Clients must disclose the presence of pets at the time of booking.

  • Pets must be secured, confined, or safely separated during the cleaning service.

  • If a pet becomes aggressive, disruptive, or creates an unsafe working environment, BeeClean reserves the right to pause or stop service.

If service cannot be completed due to pet-related safety concerns, cancellation or service refusal fees may apply.

 

10. Pest & Rodent Policy

  • Clients must disclose any known or suspected pest or rodent activity prior to booking.

  • BeeClean does not provide pest or rodent remediation services.

  • Homes with active pest or rodent infestations may be considered unsafe or unsanitary.

If undisclosed pest or rodent conditions prevent service upon arrival, BeeClean reserves the right to refuse or terminate service, and applicable fees may apply.

11. Lockouts & Access

Clients are responsible for ensuring access to the property.

If we are unable to access the home and cannot reach you within 20 minutes, the service will be considered a same-day cancellation and charged accordingly.

12. Alarms & Security Systems

Please ensure alarm systems are disabled or access codes are provided prior to service. BeeClean is not responsible for lockout fees or delays caused by alarm issues.

13. Supplies & Equipment

BeeClean provides all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment. If you request the use of your own products or equipment, BeeClean is not responsible for damage or performance issues related to those items.

14. Health & Safety Limitations

For safety reasons, our staff:

  • Do not climb higher than a step stool

  • Do not move items over 35 lbs

  • Do not clean mold, hazardous materials, bodily fluids, or hoarding situations

15. Breakage, Damage & Claims

While rare, breakage may occur. BeeClean is insured for damages caused directly by our staff.

We are not responsible for:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper installation

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Undisclosed valuables

Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

16. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours. We will address the concern where reasonable. Refunds are not provided.

17. Arrival Windows

Specific arrival times are not guaranteed. We operate within scheduled arrival windows, typically between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and will notify you of any delays.

18. Holidays & Weather

BeeClean does not operate on statutory holidays. Services affected by holidays or severe weather will be rescheduled.

 

19. Keys & Access Devices

Client keys are stored securely. BeeClean is not responsible for loss or theft if keys are left unsecured. Keys will be returned within 48 hours of service termination.

 

20. Non-Solicitation

Clients agree not to solicit or hire BeeClean employees directly during or after service.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

BeeClean Janitorial & Cleaning Services Inc. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
